The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore is Simply Superb!

The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore

We stayed at Ritz Carlton for 3 days and what an experience it was! There is absolutely no doubt that it is the best hotel I have stayed and by a fair distance too.

We were welcomed warmly and ushered in by one of the employees. After checking in we were escorted to our room by the same person who explained all the facilities available in the room and hotel. 

The room itself was recently renovated and looked really modern and up-to-date with every possible needs taken care off. We had a fantastic view of the city.

The thing that impressed me most was not the physical infrastructure but the people and customer service mindset of the employees. When I was away for work, the cleaner came in make up the room. She was chatting with my wife while cleaning. She noticed my wife was having a slight flu. After she left, another Customer Service came up to enquire if my wife is OK and if she needed help with her flu! That the hotel has inculcated customer service mindset even in the lowest employee is a testament that the hotel really means what they say - that they really go all the way to make guests feel at home!

Pros:
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Usage of employees who can communicate well in English, even cleaners. Most Singapore hotels employ cheap foreign employees who only speak Mandarin
  • Superb location next to Marina Bay
  • Modern and stylish rooms
  • Extensive breakfast spread
Cons:
  • Expensive
  • Pricey food
