Marriott Hotel Beijing City Wall is Great Hotel

I have stayed here probably ten times. I travel often across Asia and I prefer Marriott properties. There are a lot to choose from including in Beijing. This is one of my favorite properties. It has a few character glitches but overall I am always happy to be here.

I have reviewed this property twice before, however I want to make a special mention of Sarah who is managing the executive lounge. I had been away on other travels for almost a year, yet she remembered me as soon as I returned. And it was service as usual, at her best.

The business lounge is a highlight of this property. The food and drink selection is above average. Many views out the windows show a unique side of Beijing: the main train station. Where else can you sip an amaretto while watching the high speed bullet train from Shanghai come in to the station?

Walking distance to subway stops for line 1 and 2. Generally central. Friendly staff. I would be glad to call it home away from home.
Room Tip: Many different floor plans.
